I am a Registered Social Worker who holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Victoria and Master’s degree in Social Work with a Clinical Specialization from University of Calgary. My formal training focuses on interventions for individuals, families, and groups, across various therapeutic perspectives.
I have been afforded extensive opportunities working with clients who are experiencing a variety of difficulties that may include anxiety, depression, grief, stress, insomnia, self-esteem, and life transition challenges.
Additionally, I have extensive training working with those who have been impacted by trauma, including complex trauma from childhood adverse experiences. My experience comes from working with First Responders, Canadian Armed Forces Personnel, and Veterans.
I remain informed and up to date on current evidence-based best practices and I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy among other effective treatment modalities. I believe in fostering a collaborative, therapeutic relationship with a client centered approach. I am non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and strive to provide a safe and comfortable space for our work together.
I embrace an eclectic therapeutic orientation in my practice, tailoring interventions to meet my client’s individualized needs. I look forward to our work together!
